Freedom on the water, regardless of ability

Sailability Rushcutters Bay is a part of Sailability NSW,
which in turn is part of the worldwide Sailability organisation.

Freedom on the water, regardless of ability – For EVERYONE

Set sail on the beautiful Sydney Harbour and experience the joy, adventure, and camaraderie that comes with every breeze and tack. At Sailability Rushcutters Bay (SRB), we make sailing accessible to people of all abilities, offering social sails, group outings, and friendly races – all run by our dedicated volunteer crew.

Whether you’re here to learn, race, or simply feel the wind in your sails, you’ll find a community that celebrates courage, connection, and the freedom of being on the water. Come aboard – the harbour is waiting, and the wind is ready to guide you.

At SRB, we believe that everyone deserves the thrill of trimming the sails, feeling the wind on their face, and steering their own course. We provide freedom on the water for people of all abilities on one of the most spectacular harbours in the world – with the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Taronga Zoo as our backdrop.

Part of Sailability NSW and the global Sailability network, SRB is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making sailing accessible to all. Whether you’re hoisting a mainsail for the first time, joining a crew for a harbour race, or simply soaking in the serenity of the harbour, we’ll help you find your sea legs and your sailing spirit.

Come aboard, catch the breeze, and discover how far the wind can take you.

To join a sail or learn more, email Tricia Rubenstein, we’ll help you get underway.
